Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. There is an old truck lot in Sprague, Washington where it is possible to photograph many examples of fading beauty. I was drawn particularly to this truck because of the patina of age complemented by the still visible multicolored paint job.
