There are endless opportunities for shooting scenic vistas from Steptoe Butte in eastern Washington state. Cloud shadows play with how the sunlight hits the hills giving rise to many variations of sunlight and shadow for the patient photographer.

I've been enamored of photography all my life and now that I'm retired, I have the time to travel to exotic places for my photography, study others work and improve my skills with guidance from other marvelous photographers. I especially enjoy creating art from images captured with either my Nikon camera, my Olympus OM-D or my iPhone.You will find that I have a wide variety of images ranging from "straight" photographic images to images post-processed with a variety of iOS apps and/or Lightroom/Photoshop with (or without) various plug-ins. In 2015, I embarked on a "photo-a-day" project, committing to post one photo EVERY day for the entire year.
