This Western Meadowlark posed beautifully for us. We spotted him standing on the fence post alongside the road and he didn't fly away when we stopped to "shoot" him. This is one of my favorite birds and brings back many childhood memories of seeing them in Wyoming and Montana where I lived before leaving home for college.
About Victoria Porter
I've been enamored of photography all my life and now that I'm retired, I have the time to travel to exotic places for my photography, study others work and improve my skills with guidance from other marvelous photographers. I especially enjoy creating art from images captured with either my Nikon camera, my Olympus OM-D or my iPhone.You will find that I have a wide variety of images ranging from "straight" photographic images to images post-processed with a variety of iOS apps and/or Lightroom/Photoshop with (or without) various plug-ins.
